“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!” —Yup, Dr, Suess

In a nutshell…  To be successful today it’s critical to be fluent in wellness and business. For twenty years I owned and operated two successful marketing companies. I’ve coached hundreds of small businesses through the maze. I worked collaboratively with buying groups and associations along with many of the top manufacturers in the world. I have been paid a paid speaker to Maytag, BrandSource and the Consumer Electronics Association.

Recently I was involved in developing a Peer Support program for Adams County Mental Health where I combined my two biggest strengths—communication and strategizing. I interacted with clients, and created and facilitated successful training programs.

So…

—Before I began creating marketing programs for 150+ home technology retailers, installers and manufacturers I was the marketing director for the premier audio video store in Denver.  —Before I spoke to others about how to create a successful business, I started one and then a second. —Before developing my series on how to sell guy stuff to women I interviewed women in the street, worked at a car dealership  (I confess I only lasted six weeks) and a Sony store in the mall for the holidays.  —Before editing three books I wrote copy for magazines, all sales materials including direct mail, websites, e-newsletters and blogs.  —Before rolling out Peer Imagination I helped develop a peer program in healthcare for peers to support others going through health challenges.  It was there that I learned new communication skills to authentically connect with others.

The bottom line is building my expertise took time and commitment
